The entry into force of the EUDR Regulation marks a significant turning point in the management of production chains related to agricultural and forestry products. The new EU provisions place a strong emphasis on stricter controls over the origin of raw materials, requiring businesses to ensure full traceability and enhanced due diligence to guarantee that products placed on the European market are not associated with deforestation or forest degradation.
