Session Content

The entry into force of the EUDR Regulation marks a significant turning point in the management of production chains related to agricultural and forestry products. The new EU provisions place a strong emphasis on stricter controls over the origin of raw materials, requiring businesses to ensure full traceability and enhanced due diligence to guarantee that products placed on the European market are not associated with deforestation or forest degradation.

This seminar aims to provide a clear and in-depth overview of the new regulatory framework, adopting an interdisciplinary approach that integrates legal, managerial, technological, and certification expertise. Key topics to be addressed include:

  • Legal and contractual aspects, with a focus on the EUDR regulatory framework and its implications in the context of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance), which increasingly guide strategic business decisions and sustainable investments.
  • Risk analysis and mitigation measures, essential for compliance with due diligence requirements, through the identification of critical issues along the supply chain and the implementation of effective operational tools.
  • Innovative software solutions, designed to ensure secure and transparent digital management of the information and documentation flows required by the Regulation, including examples of platforms that enable end-to-end traceability and integration with EU portals.
  • The role of certification bodies, which become key partners in training companies, supporting the implementation of control systems, and validating adopted processes.
  • Enhancing the value of affected supply chains, turning a regulatory obligation into a driver of opportunity. What is the current state of circular economy practices in these chains, and what are the innovation prospects?

This event is designed for companies, consultants, auditors, and all stakeholders involved in the supply chain, with the goal of providing concrete tools and operational synergies to successfully address the challenges posed by the new European regulatory context.

The event will be held in Italian
